  • Fan Blower– The fan blower and its motor are designed to regulate the fan speed of the air conditioner, particularly its indoor unit. Users can usually select from varying speeds.
  • Control Panel– Split air conditioners will never function optimally without the control panel. Users can easily regulate the functions of their air conditioners as they point the remote towards the control panel. This specific part also showcases timers, fan speed, and other key indicators.

Outdoor Unit

The outdoor unit, alternatively, is responsible for the cooling of the obtained air. The following are some of the most common components of the outdoor unit:

  • Compressor– The compressor compresses the refrigerant to effectively increase its pressure and temperature. As it goes back to the indoor unit, it reverts into the liquid state. As it reaches the indoor unit, it absorbs the heat again from the property, becomes gas, sends the heat to the evaporator coil, and repeats the heat exchange cycle.
  • Condenser Coil– This component is maximised to release the heat from the refrigerant in the open.
  • Condenser Fan– Condenser fan, alternatively, is meant to move air molecules on the surface of the condenser coil. It is designed to reject the heat from the property and send it outdoors.
